道中2番手で追走した Folklore が直線入り口で先頭に立って抜け出した。2着に直線で追い込んだ Wild Fit 。

Breeders' Cup Juvenile （G1・ダ8.5F・2歳牡セン）： Stevie Wonderboy （ Stephen Got Even × Heat Lightning ）
Henny Hughes が2番手で先行。4コーナーで Henny Hughes が先頭に立ち、 First Samurai が直線入り口で並びかける。直線にはいると First Samuraiは Henny Hughes を交わせず逆に突き放される。 Stevie Wonderboy は外を通って追い上げ、直線半ば過ぎで外から Henny Hughes を交わして勝利。

Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf （G1・芝10F・3上牝）： Intercontinental （ Danehill × Hasili ）
Intercontinental の逃げ切り勝ち。 Ouija Board は中団で追走。4コーナーで上がっていくが、直線にはいると勝ち馬に突き放された。3着 Film Maker 。

Breeders' Cup Sprint （G1・ダ6F・3歳上）： Silver Train （ Old Trieste × Ridden in Thestars ）
Lost in the Fog は外4番手で先行。直線入り口で Attila's Storm に並びかけて直線に入るが、突き放せず。 Silver Train は直線にはいると追い上げ、 Lost in the Fog に馬体を合わせに行き、交わして先頭に。その時、後ろに居た Taste of Paradise が Lost in the Fog の外に進路を取ったが Silver Train が寄ってきた為に塞がり、 Taste of Paradise は外に持ち出す羽目に。体勢を立て直した Taste of Paradise はよく伸びたが、 Silver Train が凌いで勝利。レース後、審議になるが降着は無し。

Breeders' Cup Mile （G1・芝8F・3歳上）： Artie Schiller （ El Prado × Hidden Light ）
Leroidesanimaux は外3番手で先行。4コーナーから直線入り口にかけて先頭の Ad Valorem に並びかける。直線にはいると Leroidesanimaux は Ad Valorem を競り落として先頭に。そして、その外から Artie Schiller が伸びて Leroidesanimaux を交わし、突き放して勝利。交わされた Leroidesanimaux は最内から伸びてきた Gorella を抑えて2着。

Breeders' Cup Distaff （G1・ダ9F・3上牝）： Pleasant Home （ Seeking the Gold × Our Country Place ）
Pleasant Home は道中後方で追走。4コーナーで内ラチ沿いに上がっていき、直線にはいると Society Selection と Ashado を外からあっさりと交わし、大差をつけて圧勝。

Breeders' Cup Turf （G1・芝12F・3歳上）： Shirocco （ Monsun × So Sedulous ）
Better Talk Now のペースメーカー Shake the Bank が大きく離して逃げる。3コーナーで後続が差を詰め、4コーナーでは Shirocco が先頭、その直後に Ace さらにその後ろに Bago 。直線にはいると Shirocco が突き放し、 Ace が2着。 Azamour が Bago を交わして3着。アメリカ勢は出番無し。

Breeders' Cup Classic （G1・ダ10F・3歳上）： Saint Liam （ Saint Ballado × Quiet Dance ）
Saint Liam は馬群やや中ほどの4、5番手で追走。4コーナーで前の4頭に並びかけ、直線にはいると先頭に立ち、 Flower Alley を突き放して勝利。
